How to Fix the Comms Array in Dead Space Remake

Alright, so you've made it to the Comms Array puzzle in Chapter 8. Don't sweat it, it's not too bad once you know what you're doing. When you first walk into the room, you'll see a bunch of power lines running along the walls. These connect to different comms receivers. Some are working fine, others are busted. The broken ones have this orange power symbol on them, and the good ones look like grid panels with white lights. The patterns of those lights are your clue for how to set things up.

Here's the main goal: You need to get the power flowing from functioning receivers to the central node. Look at the communication control screen – it shows you a diagram of this. Right now, only one receiver is in the right spot: the one just to the left of the control screen. Leave that one be! You'll need to remove the damaged receiver that's above it, and any other broken ones that are in the way of the power lines leading to the central node.

Basically, you want to arrange the receivers so that only the working ones are connected to the central node on both sides of the screen. But there's a bit more to it: you have to put specific receivers into their correct slots so the power lines can connect up properly. There are six working receivers you need to place correctly. There's also one receiver that has a straight-line light pattern – that one's actually useless for this puzzle, so make sure you grab all the *other* ones and put them in the spots shown in the screenshots.

Once you've got each receiver in its proper place, the comms array will be working well enough for you to bring it back online. Then, just head back to the control screen and activate it.
