Dead Space Remake Break Room Codes (Easter Egg)

Discover the hidden Break Room codes in Dead Space (Remake) to unlock an Unknown Text, two Power Nodes, and a secret Audio Log. Learn how to input them.

Before you can input any of these codes, you’ll need to find the Break Room. The earliest you can access the area containing the Break Room is at the beginning of Chapter 4, after Hammond updates your Security Clearance to level 2 and tasks you with getting the main elevator running. Turn on the elevator by defeating the Brute that emerges from the Security Clearance 2 door, then hit the switch inside. Proceed down the elevator to Floor 3, go through the only door in the small room, and follow the corridor past the Save Point. The Break Room will be on your right.

When you enter the Break Room, look for a large red circle on the floor in front of a screen depicting the Marker. This is where you will input the codes. Be careful of the inertia of your attacks, as they may cause you to step out of the circle, which will reset the code. You can adjust your position by moving back into the center. The codes are inputted using your melee attack or stomp attack.

Unknown Text Break Room Code

The first code is found around the edge of the red circle itself. Starting at the 8 and following the symbols clockwise, you will find the following code:

Code: 8, Up, Left, Down, Right, Up, Left, Down, Right, Up, Left, Down, Right, Up, Left, Down, Right

Inputting this code correctly will reward you with a Text Log.

Power Node Break Room Code

Although you can input this code as early as Chapter 4, the code itself is found in Chapter 10 in Captain B. Mathius’ room in the Executive Quarters. You will need the Exec Quarters Keycard, found in the nearby bathroom, to access the room. This code will grant you two Power Nodes.

Code: Down, Right, Up, Left, Down, Right, Up, Left, Down, Right, Up, Left, Down, Right, Up, Left

Once inputted correctly, two Power Nodes will appear on the floor within the circle.

Shanty Break Room Code

The final code can be found throughout the Ishimura. As you progress, you will find numerous pieces of the code indicated by a Marker symbol with wave-like symbols underneath. This code will reward you with the Strange Shanty Audio Log.

Inputting this code correctly will reward you with an Audio Log.
