Master Sunflower Plains (2) in Crusader Kings III! Learn how to navigate the terrain, defeat new enemies, and build essential structures to progress.
Alright, so you've made some good progress and unlocked a new area! We're heading back to the Sunflower Plains, but this time we're going to explore a bit more. Remember those big rocks you saw earlier? Head back to that spot.
You'll want to follow the narrow path heading south from there. Because you've got your miner unit now, you can actually smash through those big rocks. This is super handy because it opens up a shortcut to the rest of the high path. Keep moving forward from where that shortcut opens up, and you'll find another hole in the ground. Digging into this one might trigger a Rocky enemy to pop out, but don't worry too much. Your miner can take him down in a flash now. Keep digging after that fight, and you'll find a nice gold bar!
Continue along the path until you reach another fork. You'll want to take the path that *doesn't* lead to the hot spring. This plateau should look familiar. From here, take the rightmost path. You'll come across another rock blocking your way. Go ahead and smash it – surprise! A Rocky shows up. Again, your miner is your best friend here, so take him out quickly. Once that rock is cleared, you'll reach a T-junction. Turn left here, and you'll head back towards Wonder Spot 3. Look for a hammer sign near the river – that's where we need to build a bridge.
Now, as your carpenter gets to work on the bridge, some Moonflowers might show up to cause trouble for your carpenter. Have your soldiers step in and deal with them. You might also encounter another giant frog. He seems tough, but with your improved fighters who can stun him and hit harder, he's not much of a threat anymore. Once the bridge is successfully built, cross over the river. This will lead you into the Melon Patch area.
