So, you've made your way north from Grassland Town and dealt with that Giant Mushroom Guardian. Nice work! Now you're ready to establish the Royal City, a pretty important spot built right on top of the Mushroom Forest. This place is key because it's where you'll build the Royal School. Think of it as your kingdom's daycare and college rolled into one – it takes any new kids born to your citizens and instantly turns them into adults, supercharging your workforce. Seriously, don't forget to build it relatively early, even if you're not thrilled about the kids growing up so fast!

Later on, someone from the school's committee will swing by, asking for donations. If you've been building the school, this will eventually unlock a new job class for your kingdom, which is a pretty big deal. You'll also find a bunch of expensive residential buildings here, basically fancy apartment blocks, that pump out new citizens for you to command. They're called things like Royal Heights and Royal Terrace, and while I wouldn't want to live in a tower block myself, they definitely boost your population.

Before you go too crazy with the housing, I'd really recommend building the Culinary Academy first. Trust me on this one – having trained cooks will be absolutely vital when you push into the Sunflower Plains later on. You'll see why when you encounter those pesky Cockadoodledoos!
