Maximize your XP in Battlefield 6 with tips on Squad XP Boosts, XP Events, Squad Orders, objective actions, match wins, medals, ribbons, and Elite Codex Entries.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Squad XP Boosts: Activate these rare "Legendary" drops from battlepacks (added in the November 2016 patch) from the Squads menu during a match. Every player in a squad with an active boost receives 100% extra score (double XP!) for 60 minutes. Check the Squads menu periodically for available slots in squads with active boosts.
  2. 2
XP Events: Keep an eye on the official Battlefield Twitter account for announcements of double XP events, sometimes coinciding with DLC (downloadable content — extra missions or items released after launch) releases and often limited to Premium subscribers.
  3. 3
Squad Orders: Use the Request Order option on the commo-rose (R1/RB) to prompt your squad leader to issue an order. If they fail, you will take their place and can issue orders yourself. Completing actions related to squad orders provides bonuses.
  4. 4
Objective Actions: Earn large XP bonuses for objective-focused play, such as capturing a Conquest flag or arming a telegraph in Rush mode. Capturing a Conquest flag with a squad order can yield around 1,000 XP, especially on larger maps with higher flag turnover. Select your desired class at the start of a Conquest match or spawn onto objectives where an enemy flag is being captured for easy XP. Spawning into a Behemoth vehicle, like the armored train, can also help capture flags repeatedly.
  5. 5
Match Wins: Winning teams receive XP multipliers after a match; a minor victory in Conquest grants a x1.25 bonus, while a major win provides a x1.5 bonus.
  6. 6
Medals: Progress on any current medal simultaneously (overhauled in the November 2017 update). Each requirement now grants 5,000 XP, with the final requirement awarding 25,000 XP.
  7. 7
Ribbons: Earn 500 XP per ribbon by performing specific actions a certain number of times in a match (introduced in the February 2017 Winter Update). Ribbons are always active. New ribbons were added in the April 2017 Spring Update and the June 2017 Nivelle Nights update.
  8. 8
Elite Codex Entries: Unlock extended codex articles for specific weapons by getting 500 kills with them. Completing each Elite entry awards a 25,000 XP bonus.
Tips
  • Throw out ammo resupplies (pouch or crate) whenever possible to earn points and support your team.
  • Staying in a match until the end is recommended to benefit fully from squad XP boosts.
  • Check the Squads menu during a match for active boosts and available slots.
  • Focusing on objective actions, like flag captures, is more effective for XP gain than simply engaging in combat.
  • Consider playing classes you don't typically enjoy during Conquest matches to easily capture flags.
  • Utilize Behemoth vehicles, especially the armored train, for repeated flag captures in Conquest.
