Unlock the full potential of Assault and Medic classes in Battlefield 6. Learn about weapon unlocks, gadget strategies, and XP farming to reach rank 50.
Walkthrough
- 1Class Ranks: View your progress from the main menu under Soldier \ Weapons & Gadgets. Some weapons and gadgets unlock at class rank 1, 2, or 3 and can be purchased with warbonds. The maximum rank per class was initially 10, but was raised to 50 in February 2017. Reaching rank 50 unlocks new dogtags and flair for your killcard.
- 2Assault Class: This class is a close-quarters and anti-vehicle specialist. It features submachineguns and shotguns for short-range combat. Your default weapon is the MP18 (Trench variant) SMG. Gadgets include AT hand grenades, the anti-tank rocket gun, and dynamite. Primary weapons from the Tanker and Pilot classes, like the Frommer Stop Auto and Sawed-Off Shotgun, can also be unlocked for Assault. To achieve the 'Assault Enlistment' trophy/achievement, you need to score 100,000 XP using the Assault class to reach rank 2.
- 3Medic Class: This class uses self-loading (semi-auto) rifles, similar to DMRs. Your starting weapon is the Cei-Rigotti (Factory variant), which can switch between semi-automatic and automatic fire. Gadgets include the medical syringe, medical crate, bandage pouch, and rifle grenades (with fragmentation, HE, and smoke variants). You can earn points and support your team by frequently using heals. To achieve the 'Medic Enlistment' trophy/achievement, you need to score 90,000 XP using the Medic class to reach rank 2.
Tips
- You can farm kills or capture objectives from relative safety by using a vehicle or mounting a horse; XP will still be credited to your standard infantry class.
- Class ranks and weapon unlocks can be viewed and purchased under Soldier \ Weapons & Gadgets. To equip them, use the Customize screen, accessible from the respawn screen (Triangle/Y) or the main menu.
- Reloading five rounds with one clip is usually quicker than loading three or four individual rounds for weapons that don't have detachable magazines.
- Throwing a bandage pouch or ammo pouch at a teammate can be done by pressing R1/RB when prompted, without needing to use the D-pad.
- The 'Assault Enlistment' and 'Medic Enlistment' trophies/achievements were glitched at launch but fixed in Version 1.02.
- 'Assault Enlistment' [Gold/80G] - Reach Assault rank 2 in multiplayer.
- 'Medic Enlistment' [Gold/80G] - Reach Medic rank 2 in multiplayer.
