Step 4: Retrieve the Glimmering Shard

Retrieve the Glimmering Shard from the Sunken Grotto in Ball x Pit. Defeat Grotto Lurkers and Deep Crawlers while avoiding collapsing stalactites.

Inside the Sunken Grotto, you'll face 'Grotto Lurkers' – amphibious creatures that spit corrosive projectiles – and 'Deep Crawlers', which are faster and more aggressive than their surface counterparts. Navigate the winding paths, being mindful of environmental traps like collapsing stalactites (indicated by cracks on the ceiling). The Glimmering Shard is located on a pedestal in the deepest part of the Grotto, often guarded by a small group of Deep Crawlers and a Grotto Lurker. Prioritize defeating the Lurker first to avoid its ranged attacks. Once the area is clear, approach the pedestal and interact with it to retrieve the 'Glimmering Shard'. This will complete the quest objective and trigger a short cinematic.
