Learn how to gather and manage Stone in Ball x Pit. This guide covers the Stone Mine, Granite Slab, and efficient stone gathering strategies for your runs.

Alright, let's talk about Stone. It's one of those resources that you'll need for a lot of upgrades and buildings, but it can feel a bit slower to get compared to Wheat or Wood. Think of it as the sturdy foundation for your growing settlement.

Gathering Stone

Your primary way to get Stone is by building a Stone Mine. This building will generate Stone over time. You can also place it within the effect zone of other gathering buildings or character buildings that have the right passive harvesting upgrades.

Just like with other resources, your characters can harvest Stone. By default, when a character runs into a Stone Mine tile, they'll bounce off and grab 1 unit of Stone. Keep an eye out for character upgrades like 'Stone Harvester' or 'Stone Master' to increase how much you get per harvest or how long they can harvest. There are even upgrades that let them harvest while passing through, which can speed things up considerably.

Certain characters can also boost the growth rate of Stone Mines if their home buildings are nearby and they've unlocked that specific ability. This is super helpful for maximizing your Stone income.

Stone Variants

You'll start with the basic Boulder tile, which is a 2x2 area. It's decent to begin with, but you'll eventually unlock the Granite Slab. This is the 1x1 version and is much more efficient in terms of space and often has a better regrowth rate and capacity once upgraded.

Pro-Tip: While Wheat is usually the easiest and highest volume resource, Stone is generally the hardest and lowest. Plan your build order and upgrades accordingly to avoid getting bottlenecked!

Remember, these resource tiles regenerate over time, even when the game is closed. So, don't stress if you empty one out; it'll fill back up eventually.

Boulder

This is your starting 2x2 Stone resource tile. It's functional but has limitations. You can upgrade it to increase its capacity and regrowth rate.

Granite Slab

This is the more advanced 1x1 version of a Stone generator. It's more space-efficient and generally better once you have access to it. It also has higher upgrade potential.
