Understand Ball x Pit's armor types: Heavy, Medium, and Light. Each offers distinct defensive capabilities and affects movement for Brawlers and Skirmishers.

Armor provides crucial damage reduction and often comes with beneficial secondary stats. There are three main armor types: Heavy Armor (Plate, Chainmail) offers the highest physical defense but reduces movement speed and dodge distance. Ideal for Brawlers. Medium Armor (Leather, Scale) provides a balanced mix of defense and mobility. Favored by Skirmishers. Light Armor (Cloth, Robes) offers the least physical defense but often boosts 'Ball' ability damage, Spirit, or Intellect. Preferred by Acolytes. Each armor piece (Helmet, Chest, Gloves, Legs, Boots) contributes to your overall 'Armor Rating'. Look for armor with enchantments that boost your primary stats, elemental resistances, or provide unique passive effects like increased health regeneration. Upgrading armor at the Blacksmith increases its base defense.
