Step 3: Locate the Resonance Crystal

Ball x Pit: Locate the pulsating Resonance Crystal in the Whispering Caverns and defeat the Crystal Guardian to obtain the Resonance Core.

Deep within the Whispering Caverns, after solving a series of Resonance Puzzles and overcoming several groups of Echo Wraiths and Stone Golems, you will reach a large, open chamber. In the center of this chamber, a massive, pulsating 'Resonance Crystal' emits the strange energy readings. As you approach, a 'Crystal Guardian' will awaken. This mini-boss is a larger, more powerful Stone Golem with additional abilities, including a ground-slam that creates shockwaves. Focus on dodging its attacks and hitting its weak points. Once defeated, interact with the Resonance Crystal. It will emit a powerful pulse, revealing a hidden passage and updating your quest objective. This interaction also grants you a unique 'Resonance Core' item.
