The game continues with Arno Dorian, a French nobleman who was raised by the Templar Grand Master, Francois De La Serre. After his biological father, an Assassin, died, De La Serre took Arno in and raised him alongside his own daughter, Elise. Thirteen years later, just as Elise is about to be inducted into the Templar Order, De La Serre is murdered. Arno is then framed for the murder and thrown into the Bastille. Determined to find the real killer of the man who raised him, Arno ends up joining the Assassin Brotherhood, uncovering a corruption that runs deeper than anyone could have imagined.
