How to Complete The Satiric Poet Contract

The Satiric Poet contract becomes available after completing the 'Zeroing In' main quest. Find it on the contract board in the Hidden One's Bureau.

Head to the Quadrangle of The Persians, across the river from the Soap Boiler’s District. Use your falcon to locate the poet near the quest marker.

Speak with the poet; he needs escorting. Break down the obstructing board with an attack. Be mindful of nearby NPCs to avoid attracting attention.

Follow the poet to a courtyard where guards are holding his nephew. The poet will hide behind crates.

Eliminate the five guards: two archers on the upper level and three on the ground. For the archers, use stealth assassinations. For the ground guards, use flower beds for cover, lure them, or use throwing knives from the archer's position. Aim for headshots with throwing knives if possible.

After clearing the courtyard, follow the poet to a large gateway.

Deal with four guards near the gateway; three are under a doorway you cannot stealth around. Use throwing knives from loot chests found on nearby buildings. Aim for headshots for guaranteed kills. Use sandbags to lure guards if whistling doesn't work.

Once the guards are cleared, follow the poet to the Abbasiyah Territory entrance.

Speak with the poet to receive your reward: 45 Components, 2 Scholar Favor Tokens, and the Rostam Dagger.
