Alright, so you're trying to snag that Gear Chest in The Four Markets, huh? It's tucked away in the southwestern part of the area, right before the bridge leading to the Scriptorium. You'll spot the building easily enough – it's got those typical barred doors and windows. On one side, you'll notice a spot where the wall looks breakable, but there aren't any explosive pots nearby to help you out.

Here's the trick: you need to find a key. Don't bother looking for it on anyone right next to the chest. Instead, head north in The Four Markets. Look for two taller buildings. The NPC you need is inside one of them. You might see another NPC with a key icon on the street, but that's just a decoy, so ignore them.

Your best bet is to climb into the building where the real keyholder is through a window. Once you're inside, use your Eagle Vision to spot them and pickpocket the key. Now, head back to the building with the Gear Chest. The locked door you need to open is just east of the chest's marker. Unlock it, and you'll find another door you can unbar.

Grab that small explosive pot from inside and carry it back outside. Go around the corner to the breakable wall you saw earlier and toss the pot at it. This might draw some attention from nearby enemies, so just find a good hiding spot and wait for them to wander off.

Now, head back into the building. You'll notice you can't easily get to the second floor where the chest is. There's a breakable ceiling, though! You have a couple of options here. You can either go back and grab another small explosive pot, or you can look for an awning on the outside of the building. There's a window with some openings there. Use your Eagle Vision to spot some larger explosive pots inside and take them out with a Throwing Knife.

Whichever method you choose, make your way back to the room with the now-broken ceiling. Look for a shelf on the side, slide it over to the hole, and climb up to the second floor. From here, you can finally open that Gear Chest and claim your prize – likely the **Zanj Uprising Dagger** or one of its upgrade schematics!
