Looting is your main gig for getting stuff – gear, weapons, all that jazz. You'll need these items for Quests, upgrading your Workshop, and of course, crafting. You can also sell them or recycle them for resources, but heads up, recycling during a raid only gives you back a fraction of what you'd normally get.
