Starting Out: Purchase all available wood and tools from Lord Northburgh's Warehouse. Aim to settle a large, flat island with Cider and Hemp fertility, and at least two Stone and Iron Ore deposits. Settle on the southern end for early deliveries.

First Settlement: Immediately build three Woodcutters, two Fisherman's Huts, and a Marketplace. Build housing around the Marketplace, adjusting taxes to 'Happy' or 'Calm' as needed. Build Cider farms once 60 peasants settle.

Exploration: Send your Flagship to explore the archipelago to claim good islands. Visit Northburgh to buy a Diplomatic Scroll, then deliver it to Al Zahir for resources.

Stone and Tool Production: Prioritize producing Stone and Tools. Build Stonemason's huts and an Iron Ore mine, Charcoal burner, and Tool maker's workshops. Block citizen ascension until basic needs are met to conserve tools.

Citizen Needs: Once Tool production is stable, satisfy Citizen needs for Linen Garments and Ropes. Set up two chains for Linen Garments (Hemp Farms and Weavers Huts) and two Rope Yards. Establish a second Tool chain. Implement Fire Stations for fire protection once you pass 355 Citizens.

Developing the Orient: Settle an Oriental island with Spices and Dates fertility. Build 10 Nomad Houses, Date plantations, and Spice plantations. Deliver Spices to your northern island. Aim for 440 Nomads to unlock buildings and build Milk farms.

Developing the North Further: With Spices, Citizens can progress to Patricians. Settle a new northern island with Brine deposits, a river, and Crop and Herb fertilities. Establish production chains for Bread, Beer, and Leather Jerkins. Upgrade trading fleets of Al Vizir and Northburgh.
