Initiation 7: Masks

Regain control of Alan in the Writer's Room and sit at the typewriter to work on a third draft of _Initiation_.

The scene will switch to the green room at the TV station, which is flooded. Interact with the TV to switch to the TV studio.

In the TV studio, interact with Warlin Door.

Head through the exit to the left, past the dressing rooms and through Wardrobe.

Continue to the cafeteria and enter the Janitor's Office.

Exhaust Ahti's conversation options; he will tell you to pick up Alice's photos from the shoebox in the basement.

Go down the stairs into the Laundry. Use the Shift Light (a mechanic that manipulates reality) to create a staircase outside and go down it.

At the bottom, use Shift Light again and go through to Basement Storage.

Make your way north to the Workshop and use Shift Light again.

Pick up Alice's Photographs from the shoebox.

Use Shift Light again and again in Storage to find a way out.

Back at the top of the stairs above the Laundry, continue down the corridor and through the door marked "EXIT" at the end to reach the TV room.

Go inside and use Shift Light to proceed.

After the end of chapter screen, you will unlock the Behind the Masks trophy and the Poe - _This Road (Falling Apart)_ Song (12/14).

Watch the footage on the TVs to unlock the _Drowning_ Writer's Journey video (6/9).

Head up the stairs to the Dark Place.

Grab the contents of a supply container underneath the scaffolding to your left.

Grab another supply container across the road by the diner.

As you make your way north along Ocean Avenue past the entrance to Wheeler St., look up at the Oceanview Hotel sign and align the orbs to unlock the _Thomas Zane_ Echo (1/9).

Continue north to the Oceanview Hotel.

You will likely be attacked by a group of Hostile Shadows as you approach.

Go through Reception and take the lift to Zane's floor.

Continue through to Room 665 and interact with the projector and then the screen.

After the cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically), take the Movie Ticket from his shirt pocket.
