There are two main versions of Captain Blood that affect cheat code functionality: the "Karma" version and the "Ruthless" version. In the "Karma" version, any cheat code used will also grant the opponent the same benefit, with a workaround for unit spawns if an enemy unit is on their Bloodforge. The "Karma" version is believed to correspond to the CD version (approx. 215 MB install size). In the "Ruthless" version, cheat codes only affect you, offering a significant advantage, though some codes like SMAUG may differ. This version is believed to correspond to the floppy disk version (approx. 76 MB install size).

Miscellaneous Cheats:

• Hold ALT and type the code to activate:
• ELMINSTER: Research all units (Both versions).
• FOG? WHAT FOG?: Reveal the entire map (Both versions).
• BOOST: Grants you 300 mana (Karma version only).
• A: Typed on the campaign select screen, unlocks all levels (Both versions).
