How to Beat The Apex Predator

The Apex Predator is a highly agile and stealthy anomaly, often encountered in the deeper, overgrown sectors of the facility. It's a fast-moving, cloaked creature that relies on hit-and-run tactics. Location: Typically found in Sector 3, 'Bio-Containment Zones' or 'Overgrown Labs'. Phases:

• Phase 1 (75-100% Health): The Predator remains cloaked, ambushing you with quick claw attacks. It will disappear after each attack, requiring you to listen for its movement cues.
• Phase 2 (25-75% Health): It starts using a 'Pounce' attack that can cover long distances and temporarily stun you. It also becomes partially visible during its pounce, offering a brief window for counter-attack.
• Phase 3 (0-25% Health): The Predator loses its full cloak, becoming semi-visible, but gains a 'Screech' ability that disorients you and summons 2-3 'Stalkers'.

Weaknesses: Highly vulnerable to 'Fire Damage' (flamethrowers, incendiary grenades) which can temporarily disrupt its cloak. Also susceptible to 'Area-of-Effect' attacks when it's partially visible. Strategy: Use environmental cues (rustling, distorted air) to anticipate its attacks. Lay down 'Proximity Mines' or 'Bear Traps' in its patrol path.
