Akiyama's Substories

#3 - Layoff Already
Start in Tenkaichi Alley in front of the blue building with a happy fish. Hana will call you back to the office to meet Shiobara, who wants to start a business. After a series of tests, Akiyama devises a final test to help a leaflet company west of Shichifuku. Follow Hana's advice and speak to a plump man in a gray suit west of the M Store, then head to Children's Park to speak with Shiobara. An old employee will attack; defeat him to end the substory.

#4 - The Apprentice
Complete "Layoff Already". Find Shiobara south of Sky Finance on the east side of the street. He wants to be Akiyama's apprentice. Akiyama agrees. A mother and child ask for a loan, and after Akiyama helps them, her drunk husband appears and must be dealt with. The substory ends shortly after.

#8 - Gourmet Reporter
Speak to a food journalist in front of Kotobuki Drugs. He will wait at Earth Angel in the Champion District. First, help him find the best yakiniku: respond "Kanrai", "Grade A Sirloin", then "Grade A Harami". Return to Earth Angel. Next, find a great ramen joint: respond "Kyushu No. 1 Star", "Pork bone stock", and "Spicy roe". Return again.
Reward: 50,000 yen (twice), Diamond

#9 - Art of Scouting
Go to the front of Elise. A scout needs inspiration to find three women in five minutes. Go to Nakamichi St. and talk to the following women:
1. On the corner into Tenkaichi Alley (pink coat, dark shades).
2. Near Cafe Alps (black hat and coat). Say "You're cute".
3. Across from the previous girl (yellow skirt, jean jacket). Say "This just might be your dream job.".
4. South end, west side. Talking to her may trigger a fight with thugs.
5. North of Smile Burger. Her yakuza boyfriend may appear and attack.
Successfully convince at least three women to complete the substory.

#12 - Pimp My Otaku
West of the front door of Elise, find Taniguchi, who likes Miki. After Akiyama tells him he has no chance, meet him later in front of Millennium Tower near the bus shelter, dressed in a suit. Go to Le Marche for shopping. During practice at the club, tell him "Pay attention to what she is saying.".

#14 - How to Spend Money
In front of the Matsuya at the end of Tenkaichi St., speak to a woman arguing with a moneylender. She needs ten million yen. Go to Akiyama's office, where she will appear. Akiyama gives her one million yen to spend wisely. Hana suggests she will visit Le Marche, Sushi Gin, and the host club Adam. You need to visit these three locations.
