Walkthrough

    Head down the bridge and back into the trunk at the end.

    Go down the corridor and out the other side.
  3. 3
    Head to the elevator and ride it up to the next level.
  4. 4
    Cross the bridge and interact with the Control Panel.
  5. 5
    Head down the hall to exit the tree.
  6. 6
    Follow the balcony to a large jutting section of the World Tree.
  7. 7
    Head down this section until you reach a wall.
  8. 8
    Go down the ramp to your right and through the corridor to the other side.
  9. 9
    Climb up the ramp and head to the left.
  10. 10
    Continue in this direction to the end to trigger a scene.

    After the scene, you will be on a platform near the trunk.

    Activate the control panel using Electric Mastery level 4 and Focus level 5. (If you need more Focus, Wulfric from the Beastly Core Crystal can help).

    Head down the opened corridor into a large, open room.

    Proceed to the far side of the room and take the elevator up.

    At the top, head down the hall into another large room to fight Jin.

Boss Fights:

Jin

  • Jin has high agility and evasion arts.
  • He can instantly trigger a full Driver Combo.
  • He has a new ability to prevent healing. There is no way to nullify this, so keep your health high.

Amalthus

  • Be wary of the hole Amalthus used to reach this platform. He has an attack that can cause Blowdown, potentially knocking you into the hole and ending the battle instantly.
  • Amalthus uses Shackle Blade, which prevents specials and Blade switching. This can be sealed with an Earth Blade Combo.
  • Amalthus is slightly harder than Jin but manageable.
Tips
  • Keep your health as high as possible during the Jin fight due to his healing prevention ability.
  • Use an Earth Blade Combo to counter Amalthus's Shackle Blade.
