Summoning & Defeating Yagluth

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Resistances: Pierce, Slash, Spirit, Poison, Blunt
• Weaknesses: Frost
• Vulnerabilities: Blunt
• Immunity: None

Phases:

1. Phase 1: Yagluth begins by casting fireballs at the player. These can be dodged or blocked with a shield.
2. Phase 2: Yagluth will begin to sweep the area with a powerful fire breath attack. Players should keep their distance or use cover to avoid this.
3. Phase 3: Yagluth will summon lightning strikes in a targeted area. Players need to move out of the indicated zones to avoid damage.

Strategy:

• Summoning: Collect Fuling totems from Fuling villages in the Plains biome. Bring at least three totems to the Altar of the Cult (marked by large stones) and place them on the altar to summon Yagluth.
• Gear: It is highly recommended to have fully upgraded Padded Armor, a fully upgraded Blackmetal Sword or Blackmetal Axe, and a fully upgraded Blackmetal Shield. A Draugr Fang bow with arrows is also useful for kiting.
• Consumables: Bring plenty of high-tier food for health and stamina regeneration (e.g., Serpent Stew, Lox Meat Pie, Blood Pudding). Also, bring Frost Resistance Meads to mitigate damage from his frost attacks.
• Combat: Stay mobile and use the terrain for cover. Dodge his fireballs and fire breath. When he is casting lightning, move out of the targeted area. While he is vulnerable to Blunt damage, his resistances make it difficult to deal significant damage with melee. Focus on dodging and surviving, using Frost arrows or Frost Resistance Meads to exploit his weakness. Consider using the portals to escape and heal if necessary.
• Post-Fight: Upon defeat, Yagluth drops a Yagluth trophy, which can be hung at the Sacrificial Stones to unlock a new boss. He also drops Tear of Yagluth, a crafting material used for powerful endgame items.
