How to Beat The Elder, The Ancient Ent

• Weaknesses: Fire, Frost
• Resistances: Pierce
• Immune: None
• Drops: The Elder Trophy, Forsaken Power, 3x Elder Bark

Phases:

1. The Elder remains stationary at its altar.
2. It summons roots from the ground to attack the player.
3. It can also summon Greydwarf Brutes and Shamans to assist it.

Strategy:

• Ranged Combat: The most effective strategy is to attack The Elder from a distance with arrows. Fire arrows or Frost arrows are highly recommended due to its weaknesses. Keep moving to dodge the roots it summons.
• Positioning: Stay behind cover if possible, or maintain a good distance to avoid its attacks. The roots can be dodged by running or rolling.
• Add Control: If The Elder summons Greydwarfs, prioritize taking them out quickly to avoid being overwhelmed.
• Gear: Ensure your armor and weapons are upgraded as much as possible. Bring plenty of healing items (e.g., Mead) and repair your gear before the fight.
• Summoning: To summon The Elder, you need to place 3x Ancient Seeds on its altar in the Black Forest biome.
