Walkthrough

    Exit the station. Emily will find a ladder; help her pull it down and descend after her. Shimmy around the corner.

    Be ready for a QTE as Emily nearly slips. Press SQUARE to prevent her falling. If you fail, press R2 and use motion controls to help her onto the ledge. If you fail this, she will get to safety on her own.

    Continue shimmying. If you failed to help Emily earlier, she may confront Matt, but this has no relationship impact.

    Exit through the door and head LEFT into the snowy area to find the Guidance Totem #5.

    Follow Emily up the slope and along a wooden platform. Go LEFT into a small wooden building.

    Lift the floorboard to find The Twins Clue #10 (Beth's Phone) underneath.

    Exit the wooden house and continue RIGHT. At the base of a tree is the easily missable Fortune Totem #3.

    Follow Emily RIGHT to the cliff edge. Examine the sign. A cutscene plays.

    You gain control of Sam in the Washington Lodge. Examine the chair to find her clothes are missing. Exit the bathroom and go through the double doors.

    Follow the balloons down the first set of stairs, past the grandfather clock.

    In the main living area, ignore the balloons leading downstairs for now. Head RIGHT to the entrance hall.

    In the entrance hall, on the table by the front door, find Mystery Man Clue #14 (Business Card).

    If desired, go near the television to the right of the entrance hall door for a scare.

    Follow the balloons down the stairs and into the Cinema Room. A cutscene plays, followed by an action sequence.

    Action Sequence Choices: The goal is to escape the Psycho. The least dangerous and best option is to THROW VASE. Aim at the Psycho and press R2.

  • Failing the initial QTE when Emily slips doesn't lead to death, but can cause her to be displeased with Matt.
  • The Guidance Totem #5 shows Emily giving Matt the flare gun.
  • The Twins Clue #10 (Beth's Phone) is found under floorboards in a wooden building.
  • The Fortune Totem #3's vision shows Ashley letting Chris into the lodge as something screeches behind him.
  • If Sam is captured by the Psycho, she will not die, but you will miss out on finding several clues later in the game. Successfully escaping is in your best interest.
