How to Beat Boss: The Spectral Weaver

Defeat The Spectral Weaver in Unknown 9: Awakening. Overcome its pure Fold energy and spectral minions in the Forgotten Catacombs.

The Spectral Weaver is an ancient entity encountered in the Forgotten Catacombs during 'The Lost Artifacts' side quest. It is a being of pure Fold energy, making it immune to conventional attacks.

Phases & Attacks:

1. Phase 1 (Ethereal Form): The Weaver floats around the arena, summoning smaller spectral minions and firing slow-moving Fold projectiles. It is immune to direct damage.
2. Phase 2 (Vulnerable Core): After summoning a certain number of minions or taking enough 'Absorb' energy, the Weaver will briefly expose its core, becoming vulnerable.

Weaknesses & Strategy:

Weakness: Focused 'Absorb' bursts and melee attacks on its core. During Phase 1, focus on 'Absorbing' energy from the spectral minions it summons. This will not only replenish your own Fold energy but also slowly destabilize the Weaver. Once enough energy is absorbed, or after a set period, the Weaver will become momentarily solid, exposing its glowing core. This is your window to attack with powerful melee combos. Repeat this process, dodging its projectiles and managing the minions. Using 'Fold Cloak' (if you have it) can help you avoid damage from minions while you focus on 'Absorbing'. The Weaver's attacks are slow but deal significant damage, so timing your dodges is crucial. Do not waste 'Shunt' on its ethereal form, as it will have no effect.
