Tyranny's spell system revolves around sigils. At a very basic level, you choose a Core sigil (the type of magic) and an Expression Sigil (how that magic is targeted), and that gives you a unique spell. Not all combinations are valid. On top of that, you can add various accents in different categories to customize the spell to your tastes. Let's go over first the different spells.
Note that in the table below, "secondary" effects (those not applied on a graze) are italicized. Spells that do damage (directly or indirectly) will have their element listed.
Also note that a typical dedicated caster with a bit of Lore training may end up with 165ish Lore by the end of the game. Lantry (who gets a lot of +Lore talents) may end up closer to 190. So use that as a gauge for just how powerful you'll be able to reasonably get (you won't be able to load up on all the most powerful accents on e.g. a Chaotic Descent spell).
