Walkthrough

    Swim through the gate and pull up on your right.

    Proceed through the opening in the center wall to the west. Kill the two gorillas (1, 2) by backhopping.

    Go to the back of the room and enter the passage to the next room, equipping your shotgun beforehand due to enemy congregation.

    Kill two more gorillas (3, 4) in the next room, using Magnums.

    Pick up the large Medi-Pack (1) in front of the door.

    Go through the self-opening door and throw the switch to release three more gorillas (5, 6, 7).

    Deal with the gorillas, which may be stuck in the passage corners, using Magnums.

    Return to the pool and take a left, then a right. A crocodile (8) will attack; shoot it while backhopping.

    Execute a roll, head south, and enter the garden. Kill the two gorillas (9, 10) with pistols.

    Pick up the large Medi Pack (2) on the roof ahead.

    Find the well-hidden switch south and west of the garden entrance to open the way to a Secret.

    Exit the garden, go left past the pool, and right where you shot the croc.

    Take the lower southern path and continue to the room at the end.

    Cautiously proceed left. In the next-to-last alcove on the right, step on the square to trigger two lions (11, 12) and then jump onto the rocks to defeat them safely.

    Equip pistols for the last alcove on the right. Kill the 4 bats (13-16) and grab a small Medi Pack (3).

    Retrace your steps to the west end of the room. Equip Magnums, jump onto the trigger square for the lurking gorilla, then backflip twice to engage it from a distance.
Tips
  • This level has 8 Save Crystals, but they are not evenly distributed.
  • Perilous falls are more dangerous than most enemies; be careful with your footing.
  • Magnums are useful for most enemies, and Uzi ammo can be found in abundance.
  • The sundial in the garden, when inspected, can trigger the 'It's About Time' Trophy if the calendar in Level 1 was also inspected.
