Option 1 - Allowed Entry

Option 2 - Denied Entry

  1. If you attacked the bandits previously, you'll need an alternate route.
  2. Backtrack to the main town area of Crow's Perch.
  3. Find an NPC sitting on a barrel and pay him 15 Crowns to learn of another way into the castle. You will earn 1XP for this.
  4. Exit Crow's Perch and turn right, following the road around the moat.
  5. Locate a small shrine on the side of the road, across the river from the northwest corner of Crow's Perch.
  6. Run down into the moat from the shrine and examine the cliff opposite.
  7. Dive under the cliff to find a hidden tunnel.
  8. Proceed through the tunnel until you encounter a Water Hag. Kill it.
  9. Explore the pool of water and the small cave for lootable objects. You can find Formula: Vermillion, Torn-out Page Cockatrice Decoction, and Torn-out Page Basilisk Decoction.
  10. Look for a climbable ledge opposite the pool.
  11. Follow the path at the top to find a ladder.
  12. Climb the ladder to enter the keep area. A scene will play.
  13. Speak with the Baron to complete the quest.

  • If you attacked the bandits in the inn during the previous quest, the villagers will flee, and guards at the first gate will attack you.
