Welcome back to Longlai! This section covers events and activities on July 12th, including new items, optional events, and side quests.

Hekizanro Inn:

Fishing: Available fish include Carp, Tiger Arowana (BHC), Noble Carp, and Quicksilver Carp. The fishing spot on the south side of the map has Carp, Quicksilver Carp (BHC), Noble Carp, and Rainbow Trout (BHC).

Fishing Request Trigger: Approach the fishing group and they will mention the 'master of the river'. This triggers a request if you have caught at least 24 fish. (As of Chapter 3, all 27 fish are available in Grim Garten or via the Fishing Simulator).

Longlai's Guardian

  • Client: Kukai

  • Head to the chapel for an event, then talk to the priest.
  • Go to the southwest end of Longlai and check the tree.
  • Head to Pubu Pass - Depths and check inside the gazebo for a fishing rod part. (The area may unlock after interacting with the Charging Station or by going south near the waterfalls.)
  • Return to Kukai. Make Rean the leader and use Shard Search to find the spot to fish Lion King. (This may pop a trophy if it's your last fish.)

Whereabouts of My Son

  • Client: Miyuki
  • Importance: ★★, SP: 4, Reward: 10,000 Mira, LGC: Choices
  • Talk to Melise at Shun-Sui-An 1F.
  • Talk to Angela at Longlai Entrance.
  • Talk to Mina and Tony on the South side of the River.
  • A green marker will appear by the Pubu Pass exit; talk to the pair of students.
  • Enter the Mountain Pass and head to the green marker to find and rescue Jed from monsters. (If doing 'Longlai's Guardian', go to the Depths first before returning to this marker, which will take you back to Longlai.)
  • Upon returning to Longlai, make Alignment choices:
    • Take Your Time Thinking It Over (Gray++, Chaos+)
    • Be Honest With Yourself (Law++, Gray+, Chaos+)
  • Claim the Konohanasakuya chest.

Longlai Pubu Bounty

Grim Garten:

  • Event on entry regarding Van's team.
  • Epstein Workshop: Purchase Soul Chef: Meat, Gothic Stollen.

Optional Events in Longlai:

  • Check the grave marker in the yard.
  • Shun-Sui-An: Weapon upgrade/customize for Zin is available (base weapon from Epstein Workshop).
  • Bracer Guild: Optional event.
  • Talk to Kaede for dialogue.
  • Hekizanro Inn: Use the hot springs for optional dialogue between the men, and note Kilika's presence.

When ready to advance the story, head to the red marker in Longlai and choose the first option.
