Several miles prior to Belgrad (Austria-Hungary) 26th July 4:40am

After waking up tied in the baggage car, press directional buttons to turn around. Press down then up to get into a good position.

Interact with the floor to access matches. Strike a match to burn the ropes and then press up to get up.

You will notice key items like Alexei's detonator, the master key, the black beetle, Tyler's telegram, and matches are missing.

When you attempt to leave, Ivo will stop you. You must fight him. Keep your cursor on the bottom half of the screen to avoid his punches and on the top half to strike. Click left or right for punches. Avoid his punches and then quickly choose to punch. It takes five punches to defeat Ivo.

After defeating Ivo, proceed to rescue Anna. The dialogue with Anna will vary based on your previous actions.

You will enter the green sleeping car. Doors 9 to 4 are locked. You cannot pick up the gun in Schmidt's cigar case. Alexei's room is missing Nietzshe's book. Tyler's room may still contain the Firebird and Scarab beetle if you left them there.

Move to the red sleeping car. You cannot examine or open anything in Anna's compartment. Coudert's sketchbook is gone. Rooms C and D, and the Obolensky compartments contain nothing of interest.

In compartment E, find the last diary entry on the top bed's pillow, discussing Alexei's death and the war.

Go to the door to the left of the restaurant car to access the roof. Head towards the smokestack.

On the roof, you will encounter Salko, armed with a crowbar. Avoid his two hits and then punch him three times. Choose the open hand option to wrestle the crowbar from him, causing him to fall.

Immediately turn around to face Vesna, who is armed with a sword.

Vesna has two swings. Avoid her stab by going downwards. Counter-attack if possible. If she performs an overhead slash, go up to block. After a certain number of your crowbar hits (equal to her attacks minus your successful crowbar hits), Vesna will fall. Press down to mimic her action to avoid a tunnel attack. Robert will handle Vesna in a cutscene.

Go to the smokestack and observe Milos and a worker shoveling coal.

Alternative Path: You can confront Milos. He believes you are on the Austria-Hungary side. Anna will appear and kill Milos. You can choose to pull the brake or not, but Anna will convince Robert not to risk crossing the border with the entire Express. Robert receives a medal, but his future is uncertain, and he never found out who killed Tyler or reached his destinations.
