Overhead Attack: A slow smash that is easy to bait and dodge by moving backward or circle strafing. This is a good opportunity to punish or throw a molotov.

Charge Move: Similar to cowmen, fast startup and causes a knockdown even if blocked. Difficult to punish. Stay very close or very far away to avoid this.

Fullscreen Jump Attack: Lands from a distance, deals good damage, and causes knockdown. Counter by circle strafing to make her land beside you, creating an opening for a molotov.

Spinning Lariat: An extremely dangerous attack that can shred multiple layers of armor in one go. Block all hits if caught in melee range to avoid health/armor loss. This is the main argument for using the Rusty Axe for blocking.

Summon Babies: Megan squats down and summons babies. This has a long startup and is highly punishable with high-damage throwables like Head Bombs. Killing the babies can sometimes incite her to summon more, creating more opportunities. This move is done at long distance.

Health and Armor: Enter the fight with full health and energy, and at least one point of armor equipped. Block immediately as the cutscene ends.

Meds: If you die and respawn, remember you can return to the Lab to find more meds if you haven't collected them already.

Armor: Creepy Armor is the best, but Bone Armor is a good alternative and easier to obtain. Even a single point of Lizard Armor is valuable. Armor absorbs hits without health loss and is crucial for survival.

Melee Weapon: Equip your best blocking melee weapon, such as the Rusty Axe, for its blocking capabilities.

Use the openings after her Overhead Attack and Fullscreen Jump Attack to throw molotovs or other explosives.

When Megan summons babies, use Head Bombs or other high-damage throwables to eliminate them quickly. This also provides an opportunity to damage Megan if she's close enough.

If Megan retreats insistently, be prepared for her Summon Babies move and have a throwable ready.

If you can hit her out of the startup animation of her Summon Babies move with a melee weapon, you can prevent the babies from spawning, though this is a missed opportunity for damage.

Maintain a safe distance to avoid her close-range leg attack and charge move.

Block frequently, especially with the Rusty Axe, to mitigate damage and protect your armor.
