    Head north from your current location and stay right in the water tunnel. Surface halfway to find an outcropping with minor supplies and babies.

    Continue along the water tunnel to another rockpile with air canisters and a flare.

    Locate the OBSIDIAN DOORS. Place three or more rocks or skulls found nearby onto the PEDESTAL to open them. Alternatively, enter the Submerged Cave from Entrance 3 (N) and climb up behind the doors to have them open automatically. Once open, they stay open.

    Inside the cave, you'll find a sinister campsite with supplies, the RUSTY AXE, the 'BENEATH THE LIMESTONE' BOOK, a VIRGINIA PHOTOGRAPH, and two BIBLES. Collecting the book here means it won't appear in the Waterfall Cave later.

    Jump in the water and head south to exit the cave. Exit the next water tunnel at a rope leading up.

    In the subsequent water tunnel, refill your Rebreather and exit at a rope leading up. At the top, find a campfire and OLD PHOTO 3.

    In the next Rebreather tunnel, check the ceiling for an exit up into a geese pond, which is also Entrance 3 (N).

    Swim out of the geese pond onto the shore. Be cautious as this area is a cannibal patrol route.

    Check the southernmost water tower in the pond for four CROSSBOW BOLTS embedded in the wooden post.

    To find the Dead Cave, head south-east from the geese pond. Locate Entrance 1 (W) north of the intersection of the horizontal and vertical map fold lines.

    Around Entrance 1 (W), find five Passenger corpses arranged in a semi-circle.

    Due west of Entrance 1 (W), find a save point campsite by a small pond with two dark blue tents and an Old Pot.

    Entrances to Dead Cave:

    Entrance 1 (W): In the heavily wooded depression in the map's horizontal centre, south of the Sinkhole.

    Entrance 2 (N): South of cannibal huts on a hilltop. Look for a tall, pointed boulder to the south of the huts, then pass it on its right to find another boulder pile marking the entrance.

    Entrance 3 (E): East of the cannibal huts. Walk down the hill and find it under boulders set into the hillside.

    The Dead Cave connects to the Ledge Cave (requires dynamite) and the Wet Cave (requires the Climbing Axe).
