Part 24

Navigate the treacherous Waterfall Cave and Lawyers Cave in The Forest Part 24. Find key items like the ARTIFACT PICTURE, CASSETTE 3, and Sahara Employee Keycard.

Walkthrough: Waterfall Cave

1. Enter Waterfall Cave via Entrance 1 (N). Be cautious descending the first rope.
2. Descend a long rope to a campsite with supplies, flares, and the ARTIFACT PICTURE. Collect air canisters and circuit boards from the pool and a ledge. Save at the tents.
3. Take a rope down to a dangerous area patrolled by a cowman and cannibals. Use the boat for cover against cannibals.
4. Hug the left wall to find crates of flares, CASSETTE 3, ropes, and the 'BENEATH THE LIMESTONE' BOOK. Note: This book may not spawn if already collected from the Submerged Cave.
5. Continue along the left wall to find the 'DON'T BE AFRAID, JUST BELIEVE' NOTE and red paint.
6. At the far end, use a narrow gap to safely defeat the cowman and skin him for Creepy Armour.
7. Squeeze through another gap and climb a rope. Find the 'DARK HAIRED MAN' BOOK on a ledge to the right.
8. Proceed through a gap in the south-west, bypassing a plank wall for now.
9. Climb a hill to a large cave with generators, a save point, cannibals, and usually a Virginia. This area is difficult to clear and has limited rewards (arrows, Chainsaw fuel). Skip unless crossing to Lawyers Cave via the water tunnel.
10. Return to the plank wall and smash it to find the 'LUNCH WITH MEGAN' VIDEO TAPE, two severed heads, and a campfire.
11. Find Passenger 2C's corpse and briefcase, then Passenger 2D's corpse, supplies, and the LUCKY NUMBERS SLIP past the water.
12. Climb a rope, use your Torch to spot the next rope, and then a third rope to exit to Entrance 2 (S) near the geese pond.

Points of Interest near Waterfall Cave Entrance 2:

• Sahara Shipping Crates: Head west from the geese pond to the coast. Find circuit boards and the SHIPPING MANIFEST. Booze is available on the beach for crafting bombs.
• Beach Cases: Follow the beach south to find several cases on the grass.
• CACHE 6: Swim west from the highest red Shipping Container. On the south of two small islands, find CACHE 6.

Walkthrough: Lawyers Cave

The Lawyers Cave is considered one of the most dangerous caves. It is relatively small with fewer notable items compared to other caves.

Entrances:

• Entrance 1 (W): East of the westernmost coastal point of the southern island. Found under a pile of rocks. Alternatively, head east uphill from the Sahara Shipping Crates.
• Entrance 2 (E): On a rise above the beaches in the west, south-west of Waterfall Cave's Entrance 1 (N). Look for a small cannibal village.

Connections: The Lawyers Cave connects to the Waterfall Cave via a water tunnel, accessible with the Rebreather.

Notable Items: Camcorder, 'Megan's Arrival' Video Tape, Sahara Employee Keycard.

Preparation: Equip armour due to the high concentration of enemies in a small area. Consider skipping building a campsite inside.
