Balmora - Ajira: Four Types of Mushrooms

Ajira needs you to collect some specific mushrooms from the Bitter Coast swamps: Luminous Russula, Violet Coprinus, Bunger's Bane, and Hypha Facia. To get there, head south from Balmora along the Odai river, then cross the wooden bridge to your right and head over the hills. Keep going south, and if you pass the Shulk Egg Mine, you're on the right track.

• Luminous Russula: Look for small, fat mushrooms growing around tree stumps.
• Violet Coprinus: These are tall, skinny, luminous mushrooms also found near tree stumps.
• Bunger's Bane & Hypha Facia: Both of these look like little brown steps growing on tree trunks. You'll need to examine trees until you find one of each.

Once you've got all four, bring them back to Ajira. She'll reward you with four Cheap Restore Health potions. Remember, Ajira can't promote you herself; you need to see Ranis for that. Make sure you visit Ranis after this quest to get promoted to Apprentice.

Balmora - Ajira: Fake Soul Gem

Next up, Ajira's got a bit of a rivalry going with Galbedir, the enchanter upstairs. They're betting on who can reach Journeyman first. While Ajira studies the mushrooms, she wants you to sneak a fake soul gem into Galbedir's desk. Galbedir will be coming downstairs, so this is your chance to slip upstairs and plant it.

Pro Tip: This is seriously one of the best quests for loot! While Galbedir is busy, raid her desk. You can find petty, lesser, and even greater soul gems. The real prize is a Grand Soul Gem containing a Winged Twilight, worth a massive 60,000 gold! If you have good security skills or an Open spell, try to pick the lock on the chest next to her desk for some amazing enchanted weapons. Take everything you can carry, and if you can't carry it all, drop it on the ground near your storage spot. It's marked as yours once it's been in your inventory, so you can come back for it later without any trouble.

After you've looted everything, return to Ajira. She'll be happy you completed the task. Visit Ranis again after this quest to get promoted to Journeyman.

Balmora - Ajira: Four Types of Flowers

Ajira's next task involves collecting flowers: Gold Kanet, Stoneflower Petals, Willow Anther, and Heather. These are found around the shores of Lake Amaya, near Pelagiad.

If you haven't been to Pelagiad before, a common route is to walk from Seyda Neen. However, Ajira suggests going through Molag Amur. Head south to Fort Moonmoth, cross the Foyada Mamaea, then take the next turnoff towards Suran. Follow the path until you reach Lake Amaya. Honestly, Molag Amur can be a bit rough, so feel free to take the route you're most comfortable with, but stick to the path!

• Gold Kanet: Yellow flowers found near rocks.
• Stoneflower Petals: Blue flowers that droop near the ground.
• Willow Anther: Tall, red, and thin flowers.
• Heather: Pink flowers that grow close to the ground.

Collect one of each and return them to Ajira. She'll give you six Cheap Restore Magicka potions as a reward.

Balmora - Ajira: Ceramic Bowl

Ajira needs a simple ceramic bowl. She'll give you ten drakes to buy one, and she thinks Ra'Virr the trader, who is right next door to the Mages Guild, might have one. Head over there and buy a bowl for two drakes. Return it to Ajira. There's no direct reward for this one, but it keeps her happy!

Balmora - Ajira: Stolen Reports
