Guide to Sadrith Mora in The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, including the Gateway Ghost quest, speaking with Angaredhel, Arara Uvalas, and Uleni Heleran.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Speak with Angaredhel at the Inn in Sadrith Mora about the Gateway hauntings. He will offer you a reward of enchantments if you stop them permanently.
  2. 2
Angaredhel will direct you to the room with the ghost, but it's not necessary to visit. Instead, speak with Mage-Mistress Arara Uvalas in the Telvanni council house on the north side of town.
  3. 3
Ask Arara Uvalas about the Gateway haunting. She suspects a Conjuration expert is involved but doesn't know who.
  4. 4
Outside the Mouth's room, ask around about Conjuration experts. Dalyne Arvel will tell you that Uleni Heleran in the Mages Guild at Wolverine Hall is the only one who specializes in and teaches Conjuration in Sadrith Mora.
  5. 5
Travel to Wolverine Hall, located directly south of Sadrith Mora. Navigate through the hall by following the path up the stairs, through the Imperial Shrine, and out to the left, then up another flight of stairs to find the Mages Guild.
  6. 6
Speak with Uleni Heleran about the Gateway hauntings. If her disposition is low, use persuasion to raise it to at least 50. She will confess to playing practical jokes on Angaredhel and give you 'Ghost-Free Papers' to deliver to him.
  7. 7
Return to Angaredhel in Sadrith Mora and give him the 'Ghost-Free Papers'. He will offer you a reward based on your character class (Fighter, Mage, or Thief).
Tips
  • The 'Ghost-Free Papers' are described as a 'hoot' and are meant to be humorous.
  • The reward for this quest is not particularly valuable, so focus on completing it for the experience.
