Alright, this is it – the final stretch of the Typhon campaign, the ". Remains of the Dark Age" mission. It’s a big one, wrapping up the [Leads to Array] objective, so let’s get you through it.
- 1As soon as you land, head straight north. You’ll stumble into a massive free-for-all between Orks and Tyranids. Don’t just watch – jump in and join the chaos! Send Tarkus right into the thick of it, then pop his [TAUNT] and [TACTICAL ADVANCE] abilities. Get Cyrus and Avitus to lay down some serious suppression fire with [FOCUS FIRE], while your Force Commander uses [BATTLE CRY] to handle the close-quarters combat.
- 2Your first major obstacle is the Deff Dread. This Ork Walker has a hefty 101,400 HP and hits like a truck in melee. It’s slow, but its Blade attack is brutal up close. Watch out for its Meteor Barrage [ROKS] ability, which it uses twice before exploding. Thankfully, it’s so slow that your main squad can usually afford to take a breather while it’s dealing with other threats.
- 3After the Deff Dread, you’ll get a nasty surprise: a Camouflaged Lictor boss will abduct one of your men! Your immediate goal is to secure the Power Generator. Once that’s done, a path will open up to another Ork and Tyranid skirmish. Your strategy here is to have Cyrus sneak towards the Relay Beacon using [INFILTRATE], while the rest of your squad repeats the suppression and assault tactics from the earlier fight.
- 4Next, move west until you find another relay beacon and the Astronomic Array, which has been looted by some Orks. You’ll need to hunt down these three Ork thieves. Let Tarkus loose with his flamethrower to deal with them. Once they’re dealt with, return to the Array to restore its parts. Then, head north to take down that Lictor. Activate the Power Generator located near the ruins to help clear the way.
- 5Now for the Lictor fight itself – it can be pretty annoying. When it gets injured, it’ll try to escape into the bushes to regenerate. Keep Cyrus nearby; his [INSTANT REVIVE] ability is a lifesaver if the Lictor manages to catch your squads off guard. Your main focus should be concentrating fire on the foliage where the Lictor is hiding. This prevents it from regenerating its health. Once it has nowhere to hide, it’s only a matter of time before it meets your Force Commander's Power Axe (or whatever you equipped it with!).
