Alright, let's talk about the world of Stray and how you, as our feline protagonist, can interact with it. This isn't just about looking pretty, you know! Your environment is full of little things you can do that can help you out, or sometimes, just be fun. ### The Outside So, you've heard whispers about the 'Outside,' right? It's everything beyond the Walled City 99. The old Humans lived there before something made it uninhabitable, forcing them into the city. They apparently missed it a lot, dreaming of it and decorating their spaces with images of its colors. After they were gone, the city stayed sealed, and for a long time, the Companions couldn't get out. Some still think it's just a myth! #### Getting Out Leaving the city isn't easy. You can technically use the Exit or the Midtown Elevator. The Exit is in the Control Room Area, but getting there is tricky since you can't use the train, and the Control Room itself is off-limits to Companions. The Elevator is watched by Sentinels, and access is restricted due to a pandemic protocol Humans put in place. There's also a hole Inside the Wall that a cat fell through, but it's way too high for you to climb, plus, you know, Zurks. #### Early Days Your journey actually begins in the Outside, in Chapter 1: Inside The Wall. When you show this to Companions in Chapter 4: The Slums, most dismiss it as fantasy. Only the Outsiders, like Momo, still hold onto the hope of reaching it, documenting their beliefs in their Notebooks.
