Alright, so you've made it to Chaos Island and you're facing off against the Knight. This guy can be a real pain if you don't know what you're doing, but don't worry, we'll get you through it!

Stats / Weaknesses:

• The Knight is a Titan-class enemy, meaning it's one of the major bosses on the island.
• It's resistant to most standard attacks, so you'll need to exploit specific moments to deal damage.
• Its main weakness is being vulnerable after it finishes certain attack patterns.

Phases:

1. Phase 1: Sword Barrage
   The Knight will start by unleashing a series of rapid sword slashes. These are fast, so your best bet is to dodge them by using the Quick Step or by homing in on the Knight and jumping over its sweeps.
2. Phase 2: Charged Attack
   After the initial flurry, the Knight will often charge up a powerful, sweeping attack. This has a longer wind-up, giving you a chance to dodge. It's a good opportunity to get a few hits in right after it finishes.
3. Phase 3: Ground Slam
   Another common move is a powerful overhead slam with its sword. It telegraphs this by raising its weapon high. Dodge to the side and then rush in to attack.
4. Phase 4: Counter-Attack Window
   The most crucial part of this fight is recognizing when the Knight is open. After it completes a combo, especially the charged attack or ground slam, it will be momentarily stunned or recovering. This is your chance to unleash your attacks.

• Stay Mobile: Never stand still. The Knight's attacks cover a wide area, and you need to be constantly moving to avoid them. Use Sonic's speed to your advantage.
• Dodge, Dodge, Dodge: Prioritize avoiding damage. Learn the tells for each attack. The Quick Step ability is your best friend here.
• Identify Openings: Don't just attack wildly. Wait for the Knight to finish an attack animation. That's when it's most vulnerable.
