Walkthrough

    Join Wei at the poker mahjong table.

    Play four hands of poker. The minimum bet of HK$500 is acceptable. (Refer to Section 07j for mahjong minigame details; keep pairs or triples and discard the rest. Select the draw pile on the right to end your turn.)

    Intentionally lose the final hand by breaking any pairs you get. (Note: Gyre Gimble reports passing is possible even if you win the last hand, but losing is more fun.)

    Exit the gambling den.

    Retrieve the LOCKBOX near the north-east corner of the island, behind a low wall near some gas tanks.

Kidnapper Lead 3

Walkthrough
  1. 1
    Meet Ilyana at the north-east corner of Hong Kong Island. (You can take a boat from the gambling den to sail the whole way.)
  2. 2
    Deliver the girl to Mr. Yar on the jetty and speak to him.
  3. 3
    Quickly take a photo of his boat before they get too far away.
  4. 4
    Take Ilyana's bike and race between the waterfront checkpoints.
  5. 5
    Take the boat. (A LOCKBOX is located behind the sea wall roughly due north of the boat.)

    Bail when prompted and swim into the big tunnel outlet. (Go left around the corner and climb the high railing on the left to access a room with another LOCKBOX and a pistol.)

    Approach the cage and survive a shootout against a group of thugs. (Be aware they spawn from both sides.)

    Return to the cage and pick the lock. (After the final cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically), look for the red man icon on the shore to the north; a trio of thugs guards another LOCKBOX.)

Completing all four cases earns you the Case Closed trophy.

Favours (Section 07b)

Favours are short side-missions that unlock as you progress through the main story. They are marked on the map with yellow icons and titles. The five dating side-missions (see Section 07c) are also counted as favours, totaling thirty-six. Favours, along with races, are excellent sources of Face XP.

If you are stuck with 35/36 favours, check the offshore gambling dens (one to the north-west and one to the south).

Susan's Lunch

This is a mandatory favour undertaken at the Night Market after completing the initial Vendor Extortion tutorial mission.

  1. Speak to the vendor in the south-east corner of the market.
  2. Head back to the Golden Koi restaurant and defeat the enemies there.
  3. Deliver payment to the restaurant staff.

Cheaters Never Prosper

Wei teaches a cheating street-racer a lesson.

  1. Speak to the guy just south of the car vendor in north-east North Point.
  2. Get to the race car within two minutes (driving there is easy).
  3. Take the tyre iron from the trunk and damage the car until the driver comes out.
  4. Defeat the driver.

A Quiet Drive

Wei acts as a getaway driver.

  1. Meet Calvin south of the parking garage nearest to Waterfront in North Point.
  2. Get in Calvin's car and drive off after he assaults a cop.
  3. Escape the red zone(s) to lose the police.

Ting's T-Shirt

Wei provides inspiration for new T-shirt designs.

  1. Meet Ting outside the Hang+Sui clothing store in southern North Point.
  2. Drive to the temple and take a photo of the altar at the top of the stairs.
  3. Drive out to the seawall waypoint (a marker on your map you've manually placed as a destination) and take a photo of the sunset.

Hospital Bills

Wei helps a market trader with an insurance claim.

  1. Speak to Michelle in north-east Night Market.
  2. Collect her car from the street and drive it carefully to the waypoint.
  3. Drive the car into the sea (hit Triangle to bail).

Fashion Advice

Wei gets distracted by a female and is robbed.

  1. Speak to the jiggling girl up on the footbridge.
  2. Chase the mugger across the rooftops.
  3. Defeat the group of thugs.

Quick Fix

Wei gets distracted and robbed again.

  1. Speak to the girl with car trouble in south-east North Point.
  2. Try to fix the car.
  3. Chase the mugger to the end of the jetty.
  4. Defeat the group of thugs (throw them in the water to save time).

Red-Handed Tiffany

Wei learns Tiffany is seeing Longfinger Chau.

  1. Speak to Calvin outside your North Point safehouse.
  2. Go to the payphone in Lok Fu Park, a couple of blocks north of Club Bam Bam.
  3. Plant a bug using the usual minigame from the story missions.

Following Tiffany

Wei learns more about Tiffany's activities.

  1. Speak to Calvin outside your safehouse again.
  2. Get over to Tiff.
