FACING THE DEMON

You'll find yourself in a large, ominous red circle after exiting the Cult Anteroom. Dr. Kaufman will appear, revealing he's incapacitated you with gas. He mentions Alessa needs a conduit for her power and that you're now out of the picture.

As you lie on the ground, barely conscious, you'll hear Dhalia and Alessa. Dhalia insists on starting the ritual now, and Kaufman confirms that with you out of the way, Alessa has no conduit for her power. Alessa expresses fear of the heat, and Dhalia warns her not to touch it, calling it a 'cage for a demon' that will focus her power. She ominously states that releasing it means 'we will all burn in the fires of Hell.'

Suddenly, you'll appear in the center of the large red circle. Look around – a massive demon materializes right beside you. It opens a section of its chest and begins spewing intense flames directly at you. The sheer heat from the blast rushes towards you.

Quickly raise your hands to shield yourself from the searing heat. Your only objective here is to survive the onslaught until the next cutscene triggers. There's no attacking or complex maneuvering required; just endure the fiery assault.
