Alright, so you're starting out in Silent Hill, right on a bench in the middle of town. Don't worry, the game hooks you up with a [MAP OF SILENT HILL] right after the intro cutscene, so you won't be totally lost.

Your first move is to head north on Crichton Street. While you're out there, keep an eye out for any item pickups. Seriously, every Health Drink is super valuable, especially on your first run, so grab 'em all. Don't stress about enemies just yet; the streets are clear for now, so take your time and explore.

You'll want to keep an eye out for a couple of specific items:

• Map of Silent Hill: You already got this one automatically after the cutscene on Crichton Street.
• Health Drink: Look for one under a light pole in the northwest part of the bench area, near where it says "To Central Silent Hill."
• Health Drink: There's another one on a trash dumpster. You'll find this at the end of the alley that's east of the Post Office.
• Room 502 Key: This one's a bit tricky and is SECOND PLAYTHROUGH ONLY. You'll need to climb the staircases in the alley east of the Post Office. The key will be right there on the second-floor landing, next to the Post Office door.

Once you've done some exploring, make your way east on Koontz Street until you spot the gates for the hospital. Just walk through them and then head for the hospital entrance doors, which will be on your right. Push on through and let's see what's inside!
