Walkthrough

    Open the gate to the Forbidden Cavern and proceed north to the first room. Look left for an opening to the next area.

    In the next room, ignore the stone slab blocking an opening and hop across gaps to the left.

    Defeat the Luslugs. Watch out for their Spike Shower skill, which hits random characters twice. Break their Locks when they charge up a special attack.

    Climb the wall on the left, then jump onto the tall pillar. Wait for the platform to descend to the bottom and lock into place.

    Climb the set of platforms that rose from the ground, then climb to the right and through an opening back to the initial room.

    Use the thin ledge to move right, then head south to find a chest containing an Adventurer’s Vest. Equip it.

    Head north through the opening. In this room, you will find more Luslugs and a puzzle.

    Climb the walls on the left, noting a keyhole and a chest. Jump off the right side onto a platform, which will raise the walls, allowing you to climb to the top and open the chest for the Forbidden Cavern Key.

    Drop back down and hit the lever on the north side. This will release the lock on the platform on the right, returning the left set of platforms to their initial position.

    Climb back up to the keyhole and use the Forbidden Cavern Key to open a doorway.

    Enter the doorway and find Mushroom Soup in a basket on the right side. In the middle of the room, you will find an item that grants the Mending Light combo skill. To the left is a chest containing a Shiny Pearl.

    Exit to the left, finding yourself in the higher area of the initial room. Climb the wall, cross the rope, and open the chest on the left for the Leeching Thorn accessory.

    Return to the other side and step on the platform on the right, which will bring you back down to ground level. This also opens a door in the back, releasing more Luslugs.

    Defeat the Luslugs, then step through the newly opened door. You cannot cross the gap ahead as the bridge device is broken, so take a detour to the left.

    You will find a campfire. You can set up camp here to Rest and restore HP/MP. Save your game with the book.

    Head north to face the Bosslug.

    After defeating the Bosslug, you will receive 60G and another Adventurer’s Vest.
