Alright, let's dive into the Elder Mist Trials and snag all those hidden chests! Don't worry if you miss any on your first run; you can always come back later after you've progressed the story. These trials are split into three paths: Left, Center, and Right. We'll tackle them one by one.

Treasure Chest 1: Left Path

As soon as you enter the Left Path and head up the stairs, look immediately to your right. You'll spot a chest tucked away under an overhang. Open it up to grab some Basic Armor.

Treasure Chest 2: Center Path

This chest is on the Center Path, the middle route you can take. You'll be answering some questions as you go. After the second question, you'll need to cross a rope. Before you do, look to your east – there's a chest right before the rope. Drop down to get the Recipe: Mushroom Scramble.

Treasure Chest 3: Right Path

Progress through the Right Path, hopping across some gaps. You'll eventually see a long wall you can climb. Just before you reach it, there's a small gap to the north. Cross it, and you'll find this chest containing a Shiny Pearl.

Treasure Chest 4: Left Path (Requires Mistral Bracelet)

For the final chest, you'll need the Mistral Bracelet, which you get from the Wind Tunnel Mines. Once you have it, head back to the Elder Mist Trials and take the Left Path again. Near the beginning, look to your left for a stone block. Use the Mistral Bracelet to push it aside, and behind it, you'll find the last chest containing a Rainbow Conch!

Treasure Chest 1: Igneous Staff

You'll spot this one almost immediately as you start falling down the main shaft. Keep an eye out for a ledge on the left side. After you land in the water at the bottom, hop up onto that ledge. You'll need to use the geysers to get back up the shaft. As you ascend, you'll eventually reach the platform with the chest. Inside, you'll find the Igneous Staff, a nice little boost for Valere.

Treasure Chest 2: Rainbow Conch

Keep following the main path until you enter a large room filled with rock spikes on the floor. You can't do anything about them yet. Continue on, and you'll find a big boulder that you can push around using your Mistral Bracelet. Right next to where you found this boulder, there's a chest. Your goal here is to push that boulder directly into the spikes to break them, clearing the way to the chest. Inside, you'll snag a Rainbow Conch.

Treasure Chest 3: Volcanic Armor

This chest is in the same room as the previous one. After dealing with the first boulder and spikes, you'll find another boulder to the north. This one is for progressing the main path. Push this boulder through the spikes on the right side of the room. This action will reveal a climbable wall. Scale that wall, and you'll find a small area holding the third chest. This one contains the Volcanic Armor.

Treasure Chest 4: Magic Pocket

Just past the room with the boulders and spikes, you'll enter an area where you need to push rock pillars into lava to create a path across. On the right side of this area, you'll see an enemy on a ledge who will run away when you approach. Chase after this enemy to the north. You'll end up in a fight against that enemy and another one that bursts through a nearby wall. Once you've defeated them both, check the spot where the second enemy came through the wall – there's a hidden hole you can enter. Inside this small area is the final chest, containing the Magic Pocket. This is a really useful accessory, letting you use an item each turn without using up your action!

Hey there! So, you're looking to snag all the treasure in Mooncradle, huh? It's a bit of a trek to get back there after you've progressed a bit in the game, but totally doable. You'll need to finish up on Wraith Island first, then head to a new town called Mirth. From there, you can use that special creature on Sleeper Island to get back to Evermist Island, and then finally revisit Mooncradle to grab those chests!

Don't worry about the first couple of chests – they're part of the story, so you literally can't miss them. They're in the trial area and give you those handy Ornate Stones you'll need for nearby receptacles.

Once you're back in Mooncradle, look for the big Celestial Willow tree on the right side of the village. It's a little hidden, but there's a chest tucked away behind its leaves. Inside, you'll find the Celestial Willow Leaf artifact. Make sure to show this to Teaks whenever you're at a campfire!

Next up, head north from the Celestial Willow. Keep going until you're on the right side of the main village gate. It looks a bit wonky, but you can actually climb onto the gate itself! Hop over and drop down on the left side to find another chest. This one has Music Sheet #1 inside – perfect for adding to your collection.

Now, make your way to the western side of the village. You'll see a field with some thorny plants. Keep heading north from there, past an NPC tending a small field, and then go behind the building. Tucked away in a little corner is your next chest, which contains 25 Gold. Every bit counts, right?

For the last chest, you'll need to head over to Zenith Academy. But here's the catch: you can't open it right away because it's in Moraine's office, and you need his key. To get the key, you'll need to have visited Mirth enough for Moraine to have his house built. It's located just south of Jirard. Just keep popping back and forth between towns until his place pops up. Once it's built, head inside his house to snag Moraine’s Office Key. With the key in hand, return to Zenith Academy, unlock Moraine's office door, and grab the chest inside. It contains a Moonstone Bracer, which gives you +10 Magic Attack and also reduces the MP cost of Valere’s Lunar Shield by 2.
