Master the Dweller's Fall Arena's Bronze Rank in Sea of Stars! Learn enemy weaknesses, party compositions, and strategies to defeat the Clawless Crab Crew, Bomb Bouncing Brothers, and Gulgul Goof Group.
Alright, so you're ready to take on the Dweller's Fall Arena in Brisk? Awesome! To even get in, you'll need to be pretty far along in the main story, right before the final dungeon. Once you're there, just head to any campfire, set up camp, and chat with B'st. He's looking for some action to find himself and heard about this arena, so he'll want to head over.
You'll find the Dweller's Fall Arena in the northern part of Brisk. Just head towards the merchants near the save point, go up those central stairs, and keep heading north until you hit the fountain. A little past that, look for a big doorway on your right – that's the arena entrance. Quick heads-up: this place is a bit different from other arenas. You won't have your whole crew for every fight; B'st actually picks your party members for you, except for the very last Special Rank. Also, and this is a big one, you can't use items at all during any of the battles, including the Special Rank. If you mess up and fail a fight, you'll have to restart that entire rank from the beginning. Don't worry though, there's no traditional game over; you can just head back to the counter and try again right away.
Bronze Rank in the Dweller’s Fall Arena
For this first set of battles, you'll be fighting with B'st (he's always in it), Valere, and Resh’an. Honestly, this is a pretty solid group, especially with Valere's Lunar Shield and Resh’an's party heal. You won't be tested too much here, as you'll only be facing regular enemies across all three fights.
Clawless Crab Crew
Your first challenge is a pair of Croubes and a Training Croube. The main thing to watch out for is the one with red crystals; it can heal the others. If you see Locks pop up, focus on breaking them immediately. Remember, Resh’an has a skill called Ebb that can break a random Lock, and it's even better if you time and boost it!
Bomb Bouncing Brothers
Next up are three Srowers. Since they're all the same, it shouldn't be too wild, but definitely try to interrupt any special moves they try to pull off. Their special move hits your whole party, so keeping that damage to a minimum is key.
Gulgul Goof Group
The final fight for the Bronze Rank pits you against a Gulgul and two Lonzons. The Lonzons have a standard two-hit combo, and a tricky special move where they bite and heal themselves a bit – nothing too scary. The Gulgul, though, is a bit of a wildcard. It can use Thunder, Bubble Drop, summon rocks from the ground, or just do a basic melee attack. It might even attack one of its own allies or just do a little dance, wasting its turn. Keep an eye out for 'Sulsul'; if that happens, the Gulgul will just up and leave the battle!
Once you win all three of these fights, you'll clear the Bronze Rank, unlock the Silver Rank, and snag a Sapphire Ore as your reward. Nice!
