Welcome to Satisfactory! This game is an absolute blast and can easily eat up 150-200 hours on your first playthrough. The world itself is a handcrafted masterpiece, filled with stunning sights, diverse biomes, and some rather… enthusiastic fauna that might lead to a few corpse runs. But don't worry, that's part of the fun!

At its heart, Satisfactory is a factory-building game. You'll start by manually crafting small batches of items at a bench, but before you know it, you'll be automating everything, churning out hundreds of items per minute to feed your ever-expanding factory and its increasingly complex creations.

This guide is designed to walk you through the early to mid-game, specifically up to Tier 3 when you get your hands on coal and set up your first coal-powered generators. Once you hit that milestone, you'll officially be past the beginner stage!

Starting the Game

The first couple of hours in Satisfactory serve as a pretty solid tutorial. You'll learn the ropes of finding surface resource nodes, the basics of mining, and get introduced to essential factory components like conveyor belts, storage containers, and power generation. Seriously, I highly recommend you do not select the 'skip to level 1' option. Play through the full game from the very beginning. While the initial stages can feel a bit tedious, with you running around gathering minerals, sticks, and bushes to craft basic items, it lays the crucial groundwork for everything that follows.
