Spare the Love, Spoil the Child

Head to the 'J' on the map and you will be informed that your son has gone after a grizzly bear.

Grab your horse and ride towards the yellow marker until you reach the area with your son and the bear.

The easiest way to take down the grizzly bear is by using a high-powered hunting rifle and good use of Dead Eye (the slow-motion aiming feature) to land a shot between its eyes.

If the first shot does not kill the bear, circle around it and line up a second slow-motion shot.

Once the bear is dead, grab your son and ride home together to finish the last of the story missions with your son.
