Must a Saviour Die?

Follow this Red Dead Redemption walkthrough to complete the 'Must a Saviour Die?' mission, including sniper tactics, ambushes, and escorting Reyes.

Alright, so you've got a mission called "Must a Saviour Die?" involving Luisa Fortuna. First things first, if you're not already nearby, warp to the 'L' on your map – that's your campsite. You'll meet up with Luisa there. Hop into her carriage and ride shotgun with her. Once you get to the fort, you'll need to go around the side and climb over a broken section of the wall. Keep an eye on your radar; the spot you need to get to is marked by a yellow dot.

Once you're inside, make your way to the sniper point, which is usually marked with a yellow cross. Grab the sniper rifle there. Your first target is the guard standing near Reyes, who's tied up at the far end of the courtyard. Line up your shot and take him out.

Warning: As soon as you take that shot, all heck breaks loose! Switch back to your best standard rifle. Head back the way you came and start targeting those TNT crates scattered all over the courtyard. They'll help you deal with the guards who are about to start shooting at you.

After you've cleared out all the enemies, head to the main gate. Call your horse over, and then get Reyes to jump on board with you. You'll then meet up with a guide outside. Stick close to him and ride at full speed towards the next objective on your map.

As you follow the guide down these dusty trails, get ready because you'll be ambushed by a bunch of troops. You can either stop and shoot them all as they appear, or try to dodge past them – it's really up to you how you want to handle it.

Keep an ear out. When you hear that Luisa is waiting for you, your destination on the map will change. You need to watch out for this change because it's pretty easy to miss. Your goal now is to get Reyes to Luisa to finish the mission!
