If you need to get there quickly, just run outside Armadillo, set a waypoint for Bonnie's house, and use a campsite to warp there. Easy peasy.

Once you arrive, run into the yellow marker to trigger a cut-scene. After it's done, grab your horse. The main goal here is to herd some cattle, and you'll start from a yellow spot in the field. Just ride your horse slowly behind the herd. Keep them moving until they leave the pen, cross the railway tracks, and head up the hill.

Now, here's the trick to herding these stubborn critters: you need to position yourself on the opposite side of where you want them to go. Want them to move left? Ride on their right. Want them to go right? Ride on their left. Just keep them moving forward until you reach the big oak tree. That's it, mission accomplished!
