Pacific Drive Part 26 walkthrough: Learn how to destroy the first tank and secure the area.
Walkthrough
- 1Engage and eliminate the Type 100 gunner emerging from a building onto the main road.
- 2Watch for a guard patrolling the northern street who may hear the commotion.
- 3Consolidate your position inside the destroyed building after eliminating nearby threats.
- 4From the northeast corner of the building, identify the sandbag position with a bazooka guard and a Type 99 gunner guarding the first tank.
- 5Snipe the guards from your current position.
- 6Eliminate a sniper on the top story of a bombed-out building across the road to the east.
- 7Destroy the stationary tank behind the sandbags using a bazooka or dynamite. If you lack these, attempt to retrieve a bazooka from a fallen guard or from crates beside the tank.
- 8After destroying the tank, eliminate a sniper in a building outside the perimeter wall to the northeast.
- 9Collect your rewards: a bazooka on crates near the tank, three first aid kits, and two more first aid kits with an Arisaka with scope in the building with the sniper.
- 10Move south along the east side of the road.
- 11Locate a building facing west with a sniper inside; attempt to circle to the front or throw a grenade through the open roof.
- 12Be aware that killing this sniper will alert two more guards in a bombed-out building farther south at the intersection.
- 13Plan your attack on these two guards carefully, favoring an approach from the northeast side.
- 14Proceed south across the road to a tall building with a gunner at the base and a sniper on top; snipe them before advancing.
- 15Send a pair of men across the road to prepare for a leapfrog advance east.
- 16Once the intersection is secure, position a sniper and an S/MG (Submachine Gun) man on each side of the road to proceed east.
- 17Bring the south team forward to spot a bombed-out building on the south side with two guards (one facing east, one north).
- 18Wait to attack until your north team can reach rubble in the middle of the road for a crossfire.
- 19Attack and destroy the guards.
- 20Claim another Japanese bazooka and some first aid kits from an alcove on the ground floor of the corner building.
- 21Advance the north-side team, circling rubble until you can see the next set of destroyed buildings on the south side of the road.
- 22Use the south-side team to advance into the first set of buildings as a point of attack on the second set.
- 23Deal with a guard hidden in a front-door alcove, and two more patrolling guards (one inside, one in the road). Position your north-side team behind rubble for cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects) and to provide support.
- 24Use the south team to inch forward and trigger the attack.
- 25After securing the second set of buildings, prepare to attack the second tank located in a walled compound outside a large building on the north side of the road.
- 26An officer stands at the fence opening to the road, flanked by rubble. Two guards are near the tank behind sandbags, and two more are behind rubble inside the fence.
- 27Consolidate your team on the south side of the road to avoid alerting defenses.
- 28Approach from the south towards a large rubble pile west of the fence opening.
- 29Snipe the officer from the buildings on the south side of the road to avoid immediate attention.
- 30Creep your fire teams towards the large rubble pile: one rifleman on the west side, a machinegunner and rifleman on the east, and a sniper behind the rubble.
- 31Creep the rifleman over the rubble to snipe one of the sandbag guards, then retreat under cover.
- 32This should incite the interior defenses to charge and be eliminated by your flanking men. Your sniper can assist from behind the rubble, but avoid exposing yourself too much to the tank.
- 33Once the guards are dead, use your bazooka man to destroy the tank.
- 34Collect the rewards near the tank and prepare to move east.
