Mission 11: Return to the Philippines

Location: Downtown Manila, Philippines, January 1945

Briefing: You are tasked with clearing loose ends in the ruined downtown Manila before General MacArthur's arrival. The area is defended by four tanks, numerous snipers, and machine gun nests. The lack of cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects) makes block-to-block fighting exposed. After dealing with the armor, eliminate all snipers to ensure MacArthur's victory drive is unobstructed.

    Begin on a bombed-out street littered with rubble. Take two men over a rubble pile on the north/left side of the road to provide cover towards the southeast.

    Move the other two men across the road to a low wall on the south/right side and proceed east.

    At an intersection with a southern road and a large rubble pile in the center, position one man for rear cover near the fence.
