Tips
  • To level your base level quickly, consume Yogurt and then eat recipes.
  • Keep track of recipes eaten three times by observing the Red Exclamation Mark on the Bonus; it disappears when the condition is met for a single character.
  • For Frost Ben, hit the tiny horn on its head. The High Thrust skill, found in the bottom section of Winterhorn Ridge, is effective.
  • Items like Blaze or Toxic Cloud can deal significant damage to Frost Ben if it remains static.
  • Attack the trolls on top of Frost Ben; they will throw snowballs and can be defeated to fall onto the ground. These trolls do not respawn (be brought back to life at a checkpoint after death).
  • In harder difficulty modes, Frost Ben may spam its roll or ground pound attacks, which can be dodged using the evade button or guard option.
  • Bugbear has sluggish movement, making its attacks easy to dodge. Watch out for the Under Claw attack where it emerges from the ground.
  • To evade Bugbear's chase attack, dodge in the opposite direction and repeat.
  • General Brigan has four shields on his chest that deflect all damage. Use multi-hit skills like Needle Strike to remove them quickly.
  • Once Brigan's shields are gone, you can deal direct damage.
  • Be aware that Brigan may summon Valkyries to reattach shields or refill his wine; defeat these Valkyries or knock them down before they assist Brigan.
  • Most of Brigan's ground attacks are slow and telegraphed by grunts or positional changes.
